Brock Purdy, the son of Shawn and Carrie Purdy, was born on December 27, 1999, in Queen Creek, Arizona. His father played eight seasons in Minor League Baseball.
He is a middle child who grew up with his elder sister, Whittney, and younger brother, Chubba. They had a competitive childhood.

Brock’s Younger Brother, Chubba Purdy, Pursued Football
23-year-old Preston “Chubba” Purdy plays for the University of Nevada.
He got his nickname Chubba from his father, as he was a huge baby, weighing 32 pounds before his first birthday.
Chubba started playing football for Perry High School in Gilbert, Arizona.
He committed to playing college football for Louisville on June 21, 2019, but flipped his commitment to Florida State on December 18, 2019.
Later, he entered the transfer portal on November 3, 2021, and transferred to Nebraska on January 17, 2022.
He announced that he would transfer to San Jose State on January 15, 2024, but he committed to playing football in Nevada on January 22, 2024.
Brock has taught Chubba much about life and football, which he appreciates. He credits his brother with having a significant influence on his athletic career.
