Castleford Tigers’s Loose forward Joe Westerman has announced he is engaged to local real estate agent Alison Hopkinson.
According to the Daily Mail, Alison posted the photos of the engagement celebration on her personal Instagram handle, which is a private account.
It reports that one photo showed a heart-shaped balloon with a bottle of champagne and a sparkling ring. Similarly, in another one, Westerman and 35-year-old Alison posed up together.

While not much is known about Alison Hopkinson, the couple got together the month after Westerman was ridiculed by fans and dumped by his wife.
In February 2023, Joe Westerman was involved in a scandal after a video surfaced showing him performing a sexual act in public.
Moreover, the alleged video of engaging in a sexual act with a friend’s wife was filmed. It was in an alley behind a Greggs store after a night out in Pontefract town center.
Following the incident, Joe faced national shame and disgrace, and his wife of nine years, Lauren, left him.
The Rugby player was fined by his Super League Team, Castleford Tigers, and blamed the incident on alcohol during the drunken encounter.

After nine years of marriage, Joe Westerman and Lauren ended their relationship in 2023.
