The smitten couple first crossed paths while attending Boston College. At the time, the wrestler, who was in his senior year, was about to graduate.
On the other hand, Kori was a junior. She shared that she was not interested in Kingston at first because she thought he was short and skinny.
“And I scooped her up on the way out,” the wrestler said. They began dating soon after and walked down the aisle on 11 September 2010.

Their first child, Kai, was born on 24 April 2013. They welcomed their second bundle of joy, Orion, on 28 April 2016. Similarly, the family’s youngest member, Lotus, arrived on 23 November 2021.
According to the wrestler, his eldest child has always been adventurous.

In an interview with the New York Post, Kofi said that in WWE, you always need to be ready for changes. Plans can change quickly, and you have to adapt.
He further disclosed that when Jones was removed, they had to adjust the storyline and keep moving forward.
"You know, once Odyssey (Jones) was out of the mix, we just had to figure out a way to pivot and keep the story going and keep on moving forward, because, as they say, the show must go on. And you figure out the best ways to adjust." -Kofi Kingston
WWE has a special Raw episode for The New Day’s 10-year anniversary. Kofi hopes Big E, who has been out since March, can join the celebration.
Jones joined WWE in 2019 and was in NXT. He was called to the main roster in April 2023 but didn’t debut until August 2024. He was supposed to be part of The New Day group.
