Late Oregon Ducks Tight End, Spencer Webb And His Girlfriend Kelly Key Are Parents Of A Son Spider

Spencer Webb passed away on July 13, 2022, and his girlfriend announced her pregnancy in August 2022.

Spencer Webb was an American football tight end for the Oregan Ducks Football team of the University of Oregon.

He was athletic from a young age and excelled in baseball, basketball, and football. Webb attended Christian Brothers High School in Sacramento, California.

Moreover, Spencer was a consensus four-star recruit and rated California’s number-one tight end by 247 Sports and ESPN.

Twenty-two-year-old Spencer Webb passed away on July 13, 2022, after hitting his head in a cliff-diving accident near Triangle Lake, Oregon.

According to the Lane County Sheriff’s office, police responded to “rock slides” near Triangle Lake outside Eugene, Oregon, and found Spencer, who “fell and struck his head.”

However, initially, he could not be revived and was later identified as Webb. The police later reported there was no evidence of foul play, and his death appeared to be accidental.

It has been more than two years since Spencer’s demise. He is still in memories of his fans and close ones.

On January 2, 2025, the Oregon Ducks played against the Ohio State Buckeyes. Some of Webb’s fans remembered the presence of him in the team.

Webb was in a relationship with Instagram star Kelly Kay. According to the available online information, their relationship occurred shortly before Spencer’s demise.

On June 28, 2022, Kelly reportedly first contacted Spencer Webb via a direct message on social media.

Furthermore, on July 7, 2022, she flew to Oregon to meet Spencer in person for the first time.

However, on July 13, Spencer Webb passed away in a rock-sliding accident. Later, about one month after Kelly Kay announced her pregnancy with his child.

On March 30, 2023, Kay announced the birth of their son with a post shared on Instagram. On her Instagram story, she included photos of her holding the newborn in her arms, and in the caption, she wrote,

• A dispute had arisen within Spencer’s family about whether Spencer Webb was the father of Spider Webb. Later, Kelly states that she had a DNA test and has Spencer’s name on her birth certificate.
• Spencer Webb was raised by his older brother Cody and Cody’s wife Alicia. His parents were not around, as they left when he was young.
• Spencer has four siblings, all of whom come from four sets of parents. His known sister is Carly, and his father is Dave Webb.
