Nikko Remigio’s Parents Maintained A Good Relationship Despite Their Divorce
The Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Nikko Remigio was born on 25 on November 4, 1999, in Orange, California, to his father, Mark Remigio, and his mother, Jennifer Peck Remigio.
His father, Mark Remigio, worked as a private investigator, balancing a high-pressure job with fatherhood.
On the other hand, Nikko’s mother, Jennifer, is from Pontiac, Michigan, and works as a corporate telecommunications pro. According to her official Facebook handle, she lives in Tustin, California.
Nikko’s parents’ love story started in 1988 in Santa Ana, California. His mother was visiting, and his father took her around town in his car.
When it was time to fly back to Michigan, Jennifer canceled her flight to stay with Mark in California, where they tied the knot.
Sadly, Mark and Jennifer separated when Nikko was very young, but they maintained a good relationship and took good care of Nikko.

Although Nikko Remigio was born and raised in the United States, his father immigrated from the Iloilo and Muntinlupa regions of the Philippines.
On the other hand, his mother, Jennifer, is half Black and half white, whose family has a deep-rooted history with Africa.
Therefore, Nikko is of American nationality and Filipino-African ethnicity. But growing up mixed, it was hard for him to become fully grounded in his identity.
When Nikko was in fourth or fifth grade and traveling on a school bus for a field trip, he sat between two white girls.
He had a crush on one of them, and they were staring at his skin. They raised their arms against Nikko and said, “Look how much darker his skin is!”
The incident made Nikko feel less than and not as good as others. Nikko grew up with his two younger brothers, Nino and Kai Remigio.
Nino is also a football player who came to Saddleback from Mater Dei High School, where he lettered in football and track before graduating in 2021.
While at MDHS, Nino was part of a record-setting 4*1000 relay team for the Monarchs.
On the other hand, Kai Remigio is a class of 2023 running back and safety at Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California.
He is a versatile two-way athlete with excellent cover skills and reasonable anticipation on the defensive side of the ball.
