Will Pruitt met Jalyn Holcomb at Lipscomb University. Jayln joined the college in the 2019-20 season.
She played the part of the Lipscomb Bisons women’s basketball team from her freshman to senior season.
In the 2019-20 season, Jalyn Holcomb was voted the ASUN Freshman of the Year and named to the All-Freshman team. She was named ASUN Freshman of the Week three times.
Moreover, Will Pruitt’s grad student girlfriend missed the entire 2023-24 season due to a preseason injury. However, she was a key leader despite being sidelined.
In December 2024, Holcomb graduated from Lipscomb University with a Master of Arts in conflict management.
Furthermore, in January 2025, Jalyn Holcomb became Lipscomb’s all-time women’s soccer leader. She also set a single-game 3-point short-made record in the program’s NCAA Div. I era.

Will Pruitt And Jalyn Holcomb First Met At Allen Arena When Will Was A Sophomore
Will Pruitt met his soon-to-be wife, Jalyn Holcomb, at the Allen Arena, an indoor arena at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee.
When Pruitt was a sophomore, Holcomb approached him about a date. However, it was not with her, but with one of her friends.
Will Pruitt recalled the first encounter and said,
We were in Allen Arena and that was how we met. She said, “I have someone I want to ask you about going on a date with, and I looked at her and said, “Is it you?”

Furthermore, their friendship grew from that interaction, and about a year later, Pruitt and Holcomb started dating.
Referring to the first meeting and the memory, Will Pruitt selected Allen Arena as the venue of the proposal. Will says,
