Health and wellness coach Julia Fay Bolt has passed away, leaving behind her husband Kyle and two children.
Julia Fay Bolt was born on February 16, 1962, in Alma, Michigan, to parents Valdo and Nancy Shankel.
She grew up in Michigan and graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1980.
Julia spent over 40 years working at Isabella Bank. Alongside her career, she was a dedicated health and wellness coach, helping people improve their well-being.
She loved spending time at the lake, socializing with friends, and being with her family.
She was married to Kyle Bolt on June 1, 1985, and they had two children, Garrett Bolt and Justine Thompson.
Julia was also a proud grandmother to Harper, Hudson, Nolan, Mason, and Mya, who brought her great joy.

Julia Fay Bolt passed away on November 20, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loved ones. She was 63 years old.
While the exact cause of her passing is not confirmed, a few reports suggest she was battling cancer.
Her life touched many, both through her work at the bank and her role as a wellness coach, leaving behind a legacy of care and kindness.
Following her passing, not just her family, but many community members are grieving and expressing their sympathy in the tribute hall. One person in her tribute hall writes:
I’m heartbroken to hear of Julie’s passing. She was one of those rare, shining souls, bold, full of light, and truly passionate about health and helping others rise. When I was struggling the most with my own health journey, her encouragement and example kept me going. She didn’t just talk about wellness; she lived it with such grace and fire. I will always admire the way she embraced healthy living principles and shared her knowledge so generously.
While her passing has indeed brought grief to many lives, she is survived by her husband, children, and grandchildren.
As per her family, funeral services will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025, at 2 p.m. at the Lux and Whiting Funeral Chapel in Breckenridge, with burial at the Breckenridge Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Monday from 1 p.m. until the time of services, all at the funeral chapel.
