Who are the key Chargers Free Agents for the 2022 offseason? The Los Angeles Chargers Free Agent Cheat Sheet is here!
UFA Linval Joseph is a handful in the pit but is on the wrong side of 30 and doesn't produce the splash stats that would necessitate keeping him around. The Chargers need to upgrade here.
IDL Linval Joseph
UFA Chris Harris Jr. is another guy on the wrong side of 30. His decline was visible. I don't see the club retaining his services at this point. The Chargers need to upgrade CB.
CB Chris Harris Jr.
Mike Williams is a UFA after being drafted in the 1st round by the Boltz. The front office did not foresee the connection he and Herbert would develop. They want him, don't know if they can afford him now.
WR Mike Williams
UFA Jared Cook is always exciting with his potential. But he never delivers on a consistent basis and in his mid-30's. It's time for the club to move on.
TE Jared Cook
ERFA Storm Norton played 90.2% of the snaps for the Boltz at RT. He also gave up 9 sacks and needs to be replaced. He fits as a backup/rotation guy while he works on his skill set. Not as a regular starter.
RT Storm Norton
UFA Michael Schofield was not one of the problems along the line. At 31 years old he still has gas in the tank and is a nice veteran presence. Club has the cap room & needs him.
LG Michael Schofield
UFA Kyzir White had a good year and is in his prime. If they can sign him to a team-friendly contract all good but the club needs to upgrade the position and will look hard at cost here.
LB Kyzir White
UFA Edge Uchenna Nwosu is just entering his prime and his skill set is on the upswing. He will not come cheap but the club needs all the pass-rushers they can find. Sign him.
