Jaguars vs Patriots

Five keys to the game for when the Jaguars face New England this weekend.

Mac Jones. The Rookie looked more like Trevor Lawrence than the Mac Jones we have come to rely on. OC Josh McDaniels will right the ship this weekend as Jones will not be asked to do anything other than manage a winning running game for the victory.

Trevor Lawrence has a QB rating under 90 for 7 straight games. Not winning football. He did get 280 yards with 7.2 yards-per-attempt last week. With two games to go can Lawrence find some magic?

For the second week in a row Matt Judon & Deatrich Wise Jr, won't be a game day weapon, this time due to COVID. That means Chase Winovich is next-man-up. He has the skill set. Will he deliver?

WR Laviska Shenault Jr., LG Andrew Norwell, OC Brandon Linder, RG Ben Bartch TE Chris Manhertz, OLB Josh Allen, NT Davon Hamilton, DT Jay Tufele LBs Myles Jack, Damien Wilson, K'Lavon Chaisson, SS Rudy Ford. That's just Jags starters.

The Jaguars are tied for 31st in the league in turnovers. The Patriots are 5th in the leage in takeaways. Old or new math the result is the same, a New England victory by the better coached team.

The Jags season is a dumpster fire and they have nothing to lose. To a man they are putting up resume tape for next year. Trevor Lawrence is not happy and would love to make a statement. Ok. Can they?
