The 24 year old 1st round pick was in south Florida, attempting to cross I-595 on foot and was hit by a dump truck.
He is survived by his wife, Kalabrya Gondrezick-Haskins, father Dwayne Haskins Sr, mother Tamara Haskins, and a younger sister, Tamia.
Haskins was in South Florida working out with Steelers teammates in a practice organized by Trubisky.
Haskins had a rocky star to his NFL career, but will be remembered as an all-time great Buckeye.
Haskins set numerous school records for the Buckeyes as a redshirt sophomore in 2018, including single-season marks for passing yards (4,831) and touchdowns (50).
