The Cowboys had a big problem stopping the run in 2021. They had 13 games where opposing offenses ran 100+ yards.
2022 STATS
On the D-Line, only Osa Odighizuwa showed any promise, getting 6 TFL, 2 Sacks, and 11 QB hits. Not great, but decent for a rookie.
2022 STATS
Dallas needs to give Parson's a partner on the inside and who better than Georgia Tackle Devonte Wyatt
Round 1, Pick #24
Wyatt is lightning fast (4.77) with a 29" vertical and big game experience. He would be a huge pickup for the Dallas run defense.
Round 1, Pick #24
Travis Jones is the inverse of Wyatt; big, unmovable run stopper who can eat up space. Parsons could key off of Jones for a brutal hammer and anvil defense.
Round 2, Pick #56
Malcom Rodriguez is all-pro in everything but size. He got 4 forced fumbles, is smart, strong and fast, but fell in the draft due to his short arms. Could be the steal of the draft.
Round 3, Pick #88
Noah Elliss is a "planet-sized" defensive tackle at 6'4, 346 lbs. If Dallas opts to go for late round prospects, he would be a good option for developmental talent.
Round 4, Pick #129
Dallas should package their 4 fifth round picks into a trade up to nab Jordan Davis. The 'Boys defense won't be able to afford Tank Lawrence once Digg's contract comes around so get the replacement now!
