The Broncos got HOF QB Russell Wilson and lost Noah Fant in a huge trade with Seattle. With a little help in the draft, this team can become a playoff regular in the AFC.
The Broncos 1st priority is a safety to pair with Justin Simmons that can replace the ageing Kareem Jackson. The same can be said for Kyle Fuller, who is losing a step after his all pro play in Chicago.
They also need some depth on the offensive line and help stopping 3rd down runs, where they were one of the worst team in the leagues at stopping short yardage situations.
The Broncos select Cam Taylor-Britt, S, Nebraska, who can play either CB or S in nickel and dime packages, giving the Broncos depth and versatility against the stacked AFC QBs.
Round 2, Pick 64
The Broncos select Greg Dulcich, TE from UCLA. A great all-around athlete, Dulcich would be a good replacement for Fant and give Wilson a great outlet if he keeps developing like he has been.
Round 3, Pick 75
The Broncos select Phidarian Mathis, DL, Alabama. Mathis was a 4 year run stopper at the Crimson Tide who got better each year. Will be able to two gap for Broncos and control the line.
Round 3, Pick 96
