Vinicius Augusto Tobias da Silva joined Internacional’s youth teams in 2016 and showed impressive performance, which led to his name being included in The Guardian’s “Next Generation” list for 2021.
He played for six years in Internacional and joined Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk. However, he was allowed to leave their clubs on a loan basis after the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Thus, on April 1, 2022, Vinicius joined La Liga club Real Madrid on loan until the end of the 2022–23 season. He made his debut for Castilla as a substitute for Peter.
On January 6, 2024, he debuted for Real Madrid against Arandina in a Copa del Rey match.
Later, he returned to Shakhtar Donetsk and announced a new contract that kept him at the club until June 30, 2029.

However, Vinicius’s wife, a social media influencer, revealed after a DNA test via Instagram that he is not the biological father of her daughter, Maite, who was born in October 2024.
The married couple faced relationship challenges and eventually had an on-and-off relationship. They both saw other partners when they were separated.
Despite their challenging relationship, they resolved things in a friendly manner and wished each other well.

Moreover, some fans also claimed that they had signed a fidelity contract in which they could not cheat on each other.
The unfaithful one would lose the right to the division of assets and even have to pay compensation.
Ingrid Lima had asked him not to attend Maite’s birth and not to post anything about her until the test came back. She decided to move on with their peaceful lives and wanted the best for Vinicius Tobias.
