Akhalkalaki, Georgia, Arman Tsarukyan’s father has been a part of the construction industry as a successful entrepreneur.
Tsarukyan is set to fight Islam Makhacehv again this Saturday, January 18, 2025, at UFC 311, and he knows he might have to break out some moves that have never been seen before to topple MMA’s pound-for-pound king.

During an interview on the Pound 4 Pound podcast, hosts Henry Cejudo and Kamarau Usman asked Tsarukyan about a secret technique they’d heard he might employ on fight night.
Tsarukyan played coy but teased that it would catch the Lightweight champion off guard. He said,
“Ah, my new technique,” “How can I share with you, but this is a good move. Good things and he’s going to be surprised. I’ve never done it before.”

Tsarukyan might not need to change much, given his run of results since dropping a decision in his UFC debut against Makhachev in April 2019.
He has been on a tear since, winning nine of his past 10 fights and knocking off the likes of Charles Oliveira, Beneil Dariush, Damir Ismagulov, and Joel Alvarez.
It’s the incremental improvements to his game that Tsarukyan credits for helping him evolve overall as a fighter. Tsarukyan said,
“Of course, I’ve changed so much,” “I have improved all my skills, but the best thing I feel it’s experience from the fights. When you fight, you go there, you do some mistakes during the fight and then go to the gym and work on your new skills and after each fight, I feel like I’m getting better, better, better. The best thing I from the fight I got experience. “Especially UFC experience. When you fight the first time, you’re super excited, you’re nervous, but now I’m already used to it, for the crowd, for the people, for the media. Just now it’s like a job. Just go there and have fun and fight.”

Arman Tsarukyan Moved To Russia With His Parents During His Childhood
Mixed martial artist Arman Tsarukyan, 28, was born on October 11, 1996, to his father, Nairi Tsarukyan, and his mother, Anaid Hakobyan.
His parents lived in a small town in Georgia near the Armenian border. Arman and his entire family moved to Russia when he was 3.
Arman’s father runs a construction business, and his mother is also involved in the family business.
As per WAD News, Nairi boasts considerable assets and a lavish lifestyle as a business tycoon in the construction industry.
It was highlighted that Nairi’s success in that industry came after the family migrated from Georgia to Russia.
When Arman was 11 years old, he received 500 rubles per hour for working for his father, giving him invaluable business experience.
Arman has consistently indicated that his father acquired a strong work ethic in him, referring to his having benefitted him in both the business and combat sports fields.
His sports pursuits, whether wrestling or hockey in his younger years or MMA in his adulthood, were fueled by Nairi’s motivation and support.
Back in January 2018, Arman posted a photo on Instagram featuring his father enjoying at a water park. It also comprised a couple of videos of him and Nairi Tsarukyan. He captioned,
“We had a lot of fun dragged my dad to the water park after the slide he holds on to his heart.”

Arman Tsarukyan Grew Up With His Two Siblings
Arman Tsarukyan was raised with his younger brother, Artur Tsarukyan, and his younger sister, Isabella Tsarukyan.
According to Arman’s Instagram post, his brother, Artur, helps him train for his fights.
His sister, Isabella, is also involved in a family business.
In addition, Arman’s wife, Milena, is also a part of his family since April 19, 2019. The couple has ever since lived happily together.
Arman has remained tight-lipped about his personal life and avoids posting personal pictures with his family on social media.
At the beginning of 2020, Milena and Arman welcomed their daughter, whom they named after Arman’s mother.
In 2022, the couple welcomed their second daughter, whose identity has been kept private.
