Melvin tied the knot with Nadine Swain McCasland in 1941. Sadly, on August 25, 2006, Melvin passed away at 86.
The service was held at First Baptist Church of Weatherford on Tuesday, August 29, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. The graveside services were held on Wednesday, August 30, 2025, at Wetumpka Cemetry in Wetumla, Oklahoma.
On the other hand, Grant’s grandmother, Nadine Swain McCasland, passed away on October 16, 2011, at 90.
