Interview with Texas DL Chris Nelson

Texas DL Chris Nelson took time out of his preparation for the 2019 NFL Draft to talk with Connor Livesay.

Chris Nelson’s official PFTL NFL Draft Profile opens like this:

“A thickly built athlete in his lower half which allows Chris Nelson to play with great leverage, center of gravity, and power at the point of attack” – Connor Livesay

Having played at Texas Chris has experience being in the spotlight and he showed up in a big way at the East-West Shrine game.

“My main focus was going out and show I could pass rush.” – DT Chris Nelson on East West Shrine game

Connor and Chris talk about how he got to where he is now. How playing as the nose at Texas won’t be his position in the NFL as he fits more as an under-tackle and you immediately are impressed by this young mans team-first mantra and pure joy he has for what he going through right now. This guy is fun to listen to!

After the interview, catch up on his official NFL Draft player profile.

Livesay keeps it real, puts things in perspective and gives you an “up close” picture of a “top NFL Draft Prospect” for 2019.
