Lakers vs Nets Highlights

The Return of AD

These Lakers vs Nets highlights show why the Lakeshow needs Anthony Davis to make a playoff run. AD had 4 blocks on the night, helping the Lakers defeat the Nets 106-96. Lebron James also had an outstanding night on defense, getting 3 steals an 2 blocks all in the 4th quarter. Davis brings out the best in James, freeing him up to be more aggressive on defense and more of a playmaker on offense.

Malik Monk Has the Hot Hand

The Lakers have found their scorer in Malik Monk, who shot 6 of 12 from the arc and has been one of the Laker’s main scoring threats. He’s thriving in Los Angeles and is playing the best basketball of his career, shooting 41% from three this season. When Russ or James can’t hit from three, Monk is there to make up the difference.

The Kid from Arkansas

Austin Reaves deserves a special mention, fighting on the board for four offensive rebounds. He also can fire a nice skip pass and moves the ball well. During games you can see him chatting with James often, soaking up more knowledge of the offense and where to find the open man. He and James led the Lakers in assists with 6 each, and his vision was a big reason their offense never sputtered.
