What a game; these Nets vs Bulls highlights show why the Nets have the best road record in the NBA. Kyrie Irving is an essential piece of the puzzle for this Nets team. Even though he started cold, the Nets just look like a smooth-running machine when he’s on the court and you can feel the magic. Chicago put up a great fight and looked sharp in the 1st half, but the Nets tapped into a defensive reserve and James Harden went on an MVP-level burst of scoring and passing.

A Tale of Turnovers
Coby White and Zach LaVine were scoring at will early on, and the Bulls were pressing their home court advantage, riding the energy of the crowd in this Eastern Conference matchup. The game was very even all the way into the 3rd quarter. Then something shifted in the Nets defense and they got wise to the Bull’s offense. Every Net started getting strips; Kevin Durant, Blake Griffin, James Harden, and Day’Ron Sharpe all put up a brick wall late in the 3rd quarter, creating turnovers, missed shots, and general chaos in the Chicago offense. James Harden used the opportunities to take the Nets on a 45-8 point run against the bulls.

Nets’ Deadly Shooting
Patty Mills drove the Nets’ oppressive scoring, shooting over 70% from the field. He went 6 of 8 from three and got 21 points on the night. Irving had a cold night but drew plenty of attention, freeing up the floor for Mills to go on a tear. Kevin Durant shot 70% while also getting 9 assists and 2 steals. Mills and KD absolutely buried the Bulls and punished them for their successive turnovers.
