Despite the slow first half, the Rams vs Seahawks came away with a 20-10 victory. LA moves to 10-4 with the win while the Seahawks fall to 5-9. It was a battle of the defenses before Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp went off for 2 touchdowns in the 3rd quarter. Let’s see how the Tuesday night action went down!
Slow 1st Half For Both Teams
The Rams started the game off strong with a 13 play 6 minute and 44-second drive that ended in a Matt-gay 55-yard field goal. The defense stepped up as Aaron Donald would sniff out a screen by the Seatle Seahawk. Russell Wilson and the company were having no luck in the first quarter.

It was the Hawks’ defense that came up big to start the 2nd quarter as Matthew Stafford was picked off by Quandre Diggs. Seattle couldn’t capitalize and was forced to punt. LA looked like they were driving down the field after a big 42-yard bomb to Cooper Kupp but the Rams would go for it on 4th down. Stafford would try and find Kupp but his pass was deflected away for the turnover on downs. Wilson would start cooking to end the half. He would drive down the field to tie things up 3-3 at the half.
The Action Picked Up In The 2nd Half And The Rams Took Control
The Seahawks would start the 2nd half with the ball and have their best drive of the game. A 14 play drive that took 5 minutes and 37 seconds off the clock and ended with a DeeJay Dallas 4 yard touchdown. The momentum was all in Seattle’s favor as they had the 10-3 lead. Whatever adjustments Seattle Made, Sean McVay and the Rams seemed to match it. They came out on their first drive and converted a long pass to Cooper Kupp on 3rd down. Sony Michel would break loss to set up a first and goal before Kupp would break Isaac Bruce’s single-season reception record of 119 with the touchdown.

With the score tied up 10-10, the Rams defense took over once again. They were able to force a punt and Matthew Stafford would head back on the field with a different attitude. Michel would rattle off a nice 24 yard catch before Cooper Kupp would get into the endzone for the second time. Stafford would thread the needle perfectly and Kupp would walk in to make the score 17-10 Rams.
The 4th quarter was all Rams as Aaron Donald would record his 15th sack on Russell Wilson. Matt Gay would hit another FG to bring the lead to 20-10. Taylor Rapp would seal things with a late interception and the Rams vs Seahawks would hold on for the victory.

Matthew Stafford finished the game 21/29 for 244 yards and 2 touchdowns with 1 interception. Sony Michel had a break-out game with 92 yards on 18 carries and added 2 catches for 23 yards. Cooper Kupp had another monster game as he continues to lead the league in Receptions, Yards, and TD’s. He had 9 catches for 136 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Sports Talk Line And The Rams vs Seahawks
The Los Angeles Rams move to 10-4 with the 2-10 victory over the Seahawks. They are level with the Arizona Cardinals in the record but are behind in the tie-breaker for the top of the NFC West. Check out the latest NFL standings. The Seahawks will have lots of questions as they head into the offseason after making the playoffs every season since 2011.
The Rams will look to pass Arizona in the final 3 games of the season but it won’t be easy. Make sure to follow me on Twitter @JoshuaGriffith0 for the latest news about the LA Rams.
