Spinksy's NFL Mock Draft 2020

Spinksy’s NFL Mock Draft 1.0

We are less than two weeks away from the 2020 NFL Draft. Its time for me to release my NFL Mock Draft 2020. Here it is. Enjoy!

Note: This will not include trades.

Joe Burrows - LSU, Spinksy's NFL Mock Draft 1.0 number 1 pick
Joe Burrow

NFL Mock Draft Round 1

No 1. Cincinnati Bengals select QB Joe Burrow (LSU)

The Bengals need a franchise QB after not resigning Andy Dalton. Burrow is an exceptional talent and showed as much last season when he led LSU to an undefeated season and a national championship win over Clemson. The Heisman winner will start right away and will lift the Bengals from the cellar of the NFL. He is my NFL mock draft #1 pick!

No. 2. Washington Redskins select Edge Rusher Chase Young (Ohio State)

Chase Young is one of the most talented players College Football has ever seen. The man is a demon behind the line and sees the game better than most. He kept Nick Bosa out of the Buckeyes team for several weeks in 2018, that’s how good he is.

The Redskins need an edge and will be better on defense for this pick.

No. 3 Detroit Lions select CB Jeffery Okudah (Ohio State)

The Lions need a true shut down corner after losing Darius Slay to the Eagles. Okudah brings that to the franchise. The defense leaks more TDs down the field than most in the NFL. Now with Okudah in the backfield you can expect them to improve significantly in that area.

No. 4 New York Giants select LB Isaiah Simmons (Clemson)

Simmons is a hybrid player. He can play in the line, on the edge or as a free safety. The Giants need a player like Simmons to fill multiple roles. This is the perfect fit for a struggling defensive unit.

Tua Tagovailoa - Alabama
Tua Tagovailoa

No. 5 Miami Dolphins select QB Tua Tagovailoa (Alabama)

The Dolphins need a franchise QB and have had their eye on Tua for years. This is a no brainer and a great NFL mock draft pick and a great fit!

No. 6 Los Angeles Chargers select QB Justin Herbert (Oregon)

The Chargers let Phillip Rivers walk away after 16 years in LA, they are looking for their franchise QB of the future. Herbert is their man. This kid is an exceptional footballer. His deep pass skills are incredible. The Chargers are in safe hands with Herbert under center going forward.

No. 7 Carolina Panthers select IDL Derrick Brown (Auburn)

The new Panthers coaching set up of Matt Rhule and Joe Brady will be looking to make an impression in their first draft together. Derrick Brown is an animal on and off the ball. Expect him to slot in and play from day one.

No. 8 Arizona Cardinals select OT Mekhi Becton (Louisville)

Becton had an exceptional Combine and sprung up Draft Boards as a result. He is a perfect fit for a Cardinals team needing to protect their most valuable asset, Kyler Murray.

No. 9 Jacksonville Jaguars select WR Henry Ruggs III (Alabama)

The Jags need a quality receiver and they don’t come better than Henry Ruggs. Perfect fit

No. 10 Cleveland Browns select OT Tristan Wirfs (Iowa)

Wirfs is one of the best products in this draft, he will play for day one and will give Baker Mayfield more time with the football. Great selection.

No. 11 New York Jets select OT Andrew Thomas (Georgia)

Thomas is a man mountain. There is nothing this kid can’t do. Great pick up by the Jets. Sam Darnold will be happy.

No. 12 Las Vegas Raiders select WR CeeDee Lamb (Oklahoma)

The Raiders first pick in Vegas will be a memorable one. Lamb is a brilliant WR who separates from his man with ease. Expect a lot of TDs from him when the season starts.

No. 13 San Francisco 49ers select WR Jerry Jeudy (Alabama)

Last season’s Superbowl appearance will raise the stakes for the 49ers in 2020. Adding Jeudy to the mix will only help to improve this impressive franchise.

No. 14 Tampa Bay Bucs select OT Jedrick Wills (Alabama)

Wills will now be charge with protecting the GOAT. Great choice. This is my NFL Mock Draft pick no brainer!

No. 15 Denver Broncos select WR Justin Jefferson (LSU)

Jefferson had a standout year in 2019 and will only continue to improve in the NFL. Expect big things from him and the Broncos.

No. 16 Atlanta Falcons select IDL Javon Kinlaw (South Carolina)

Hands in the dirt, athletic and explosive. Kinlaw is a great addition to the Falcons defense.

C.J. Henderson – Florida
C.J. Henderson

No. 17 Dallas Cowboys select CB C.J. Henderson (Florida)

Not getting a deal done to keep Byron Jones means the Cowboys are without a standout Corner. They have one now.

No. 18 Miami Dolphins select S Grant Delpit (LSU)

Adding Delpit to a backfield that contains Xavier Howard and Byron Jones make the Dolphins a hard team to score against. Great pick up.

No. 19 Las Vegas Raiders select CB Jeff Gladney (TCU)

The Raiders have struggled to contain WRs over the last few years. Gladney is one of the best tacklers in football. Expect him to shine in Vegas.

No. 20 Jacksonville Jaguars select CB Xavier McKinney (Alabama)

The Jags don’t have a great safety, this is a good choice.

No. 21 Philadelphia Eagles select LB Kenneth Murray (Oklahoma)

Eagles need a solid LB. Murray is the answer to their prayers.

No. 22 Minnesota Vikings select CB Kristian Fulton (LSU)

A perfect addition to the Vikings backfield. Fulton is a talented CB and will bring a lot of composure and skill to the defensive side of the ball for the franchise.

Jordan Love - Utah State
Jordan Love

No. 23 New England Patriots select QB Jordan Love (Utah)

Since the departure of Tom Brady, the Patriots are looking at Jarrod Stidham behind center. The addition of Jordan Love gives them options going forward.

No. 24 New Orleans Saints select LB Patrick Queen (LSU)

Patrick Queen is the perfect fit for the Saints defensive line. He is aggressive yet composed and will only grow as the seasons go on.

No. 25 Minnesota Vikings select Edge K’Lavon Chaisson (LSU)

Chaisson was a dominate edge rusher for LSU and will bring the same energy and skills set to the Vikings.

No. 26 Miami Dolphins select RB D’Andre Swift (Georgia)

The Dolphins are cleaning up in this draft. Swift is an excellent addition to a struggling franchise. Expect him and Tua to form a long running partnership.

No. 27 Seattle Seahawks select Edge Zack Baun (Wisconsin)

Im not sure what happened here.

No. 28 Baltimore Ravens select WR Denzel Mims (Baylor)

Another massive weapon for Lamar Jackson to not throw to. Perfect addition to Ravens and my round one nfl mock draft pick.

No. 29 Tennessee Titans select Edge Yetur Gross-Matos (Penn State)

Gross-Matos lit up every team he played during his time with Penn State, expect the same in a Titans uniform.

No. 30 Green Bay Packers select WR Laviska Shenault (Colorado)

Laviska Shenault Jr. Colorado WR | 2020 NFL Draft Profile
Laviska Shenault

One of my fav WRs in this class, Shenault will love catching passes from Aaron Rodgers.

No. 31 San Francisco 49ers select Edge A.J. Epenesa (Iowa)

Perfect fit.

No. 32 Kansas City Chiefs select RB J.K. Dobbins (Ohio State)

Without a clear RB at the moment the Chiefs take Dobbins to improve their incredible team.

Let me know what you think about my NFL Mock Draft 2020. I am excited to connect with you and discuss!
