Rams vs Bears

Rams vs Bears Week 11 NFL Two Teams Extremely Desperate For The Win Ends 17-7 LA

Sunday Night Football Rams vs Bears Wildcard Hunt

Two teams both still in the hunt for a wildcard spot. The Rams vs Bears Sunday night could make or break a season. Los Angeles came in 5-4 and while Chicago was still in it at 4-5. A loss would be devastating for either team. With the Minnesota Vikings winning today and moving to 8-3 and Seattle Seahawks at 8-2 in the 2nd wild card spot. It would be a tough hole to climb out of.

The Rams vs Bears limp into tonights game. After a bye week, they should have been much better against the Pittsburg Steelers. a 17-12 loss where they didn't score an offensive touchdown left a lot to question. The defense started the game off on the right foot. Forcing a fumble and Dante Fowler ran in it for an early 7-0 lead. Besides a 3rd quarter field goal and a late 4th quarter safety, this was all the scoring they could manage.

Jared Goff went 22/41 for 243 yards and 2 INT's and also gave up a fumble. Cooper Kupp held without a catch and seemed to be a gameplan of the Steelers. The bright spot besides the defense, who only gave up 10 of the points. Was Todd Gurley was being involved more. It was early in the game but he had 12 rushes for 73 yards. Gurley was going to be back Rams vs Bears.

Chicago came in on a high. A big win against division rival Detriot Lions 20-13 kept their playoff hopes alive. They will look to continue on a game where they were once again sound on defense. Mitchell Trubisky had his best game of the season. 16/23 for only 173 yards but 3 Touchdowns. more importantly, he came on in the second half when Chicago needed him.  They would also need former Defensive player of the year, Khalil Mack. Rams vs Bears will be accounting for him on every snap.

Los Angeles will be without both Brandin Cooks, still on concussion protocol. And Robert Woods who has some personal issues to take care of. Josh Reynolds and Tight End Gerald Everett will need to be key for the Rams vs Bears come Sunday night football.  The winner of this game will have a bit better chance at a wildcard. The loser can start to think about the next year and draft needs. No better place to do that then Sports Talk Lines Big Board.

Rams vs Bears Sunday Night Football Started Off Slow in The 1st Quarter

Los Angeles won the coin toss and differed to the second half. Chicago started on the 29-yard line after a short return. Rams vs Bears was underway week 11. After a 4 minute drive downfield where Tribusiky looked like the man who ended the last game. The Bear's horrible kicking woes continue. Eddy Pineiro missed a 48-yard attempt and the drive was a wasted one.

Rams first possession and fans were eager to see what kind of play calls head coach Sean McVay would be calling. First, play of the game and it looked like we were going to be getting a solid dose of Gurley... Fumble. Not the start the Rams vs Bears wanted.

A Forced Fumble by Eddie Jackson recovered by Ha Ha Clinton-Dix and the Bears were back in business. 7 Plays later and 15 yards and they turned it over on downs. But wait Jared Goff tried to force a pass into coverage. Interception for Roquan Smith and one more chance. Another chance to drive down and miss a field goal. It's tough being a Ram's fan but I can't imagine being a Bears fan.

The Rams vs Bears ran the ball to end what was a very dull first quarter. Chicago should have been up at least 10 but failed to capitalize on any of their chances. Sunday night football in week 11 of the NFL was shaping up to be a bit of a sloppy game.

Gurley Got His Legs Rams vs Bears 2nd Quarter

The Rams vs Bears were able to get Gurley and the run game going in the second quarter. After converting on a 38-yard field goal to start. Both teams exchanged punts. It was Los Angeles's turn for a big play on defense. On 2 and 10 Trubisky looked left and threw a pass under pressure. It was tipped up and picked off by Troy Hill and the Rams vs Bears were looking to extend the lead.

A 51-yard pass to Cooper Kupp on the play-action set up from Gurley was called a touchdown at first. After review, it was reversed back to the 1 and 1st and goal Rams vs Bears. Gurley made no mistake punching it in for the 10-0 lead with 3:28 to go in the 1st half.

Chicago tried to come back before half but it was too little too late. Tarik Cohen was splitting time between David Montgomery. Both were somewhat effective. Poor play calling and an inability to get in manageable 3rd downs hurt the Bears. Things weren't going good on Sunday Night Football.

Rams vs Bears were able to force a punt late in the 2nd quarter. It summed up the first half for Chicago, Close. This was Football and not Horshoes or Hand grenades were close counts. Gurley was a beast for the Rams finishing the first half with 94 total yards and 1 touchdown. It was almost like the man we were so used to seeing. The running game was so important last year in setting up the play-action pass.

Los Angeles had switched from a zone run game and we're making things simple with a power run game. Rookie Linemen Bobby Evans and David Edwards looked fine. Pushing forward for the Rams Allstar running back. They might be what Los Angeles needed on the O-line after all the injuries.

What Would The 3rd Bring Us Rams vs Bears

If Rams fans could take anything away from the half Sunday Night Football. Sean Mcvay was 22-0 when leading at the half. If you had watched Los Angeles play this year you were not comforted. After a 3 and out to start the half Johnny Hekker punted away and things got a bit nervous.

Chicago went right down the field and drove back. An 80-yard drive-in 12 plays taking 5:51. And the Bears looked like they did second half last week against the Lions. Trubisky saw man coverage and motioned Tarik Cohen out of the backfield. A solid Corey Littleton was no match for a perfect route and throw. 10-7 Rams vs Bears Week 11 and we had ourselves a ball game.

The rest of the 3rd quarter was exciting Rams vs Bears. For people looking to become a punter that it. 5 Punts to end the quarter and Los Angeles was barely holding off Chicago. Confidence from last week and it should be a good 4th quarter for NFL fans on Sunday Night Football. 10-7 for the home team and it was game on.

Rams vs Bears 4th Quarter Enough By The Home Team

The 4th Quarter was the same as the 1st Quarter. Both teams were trying to limit mistakes but were forced into short drives and punts. The Rams vs Bears were very happy to play this kind of game. Aaron Donald was forcing pressure all over the field. He ended the game with 2 sacks and when he wasn't getting to the QB. He was making this happen.

Regardless of having double and triple teams. Donald was making things tough for opposing Quarterbacks. Fowler and Matthews need to step up in the next coming games. At least for Chicago, the Rams couldn't get anything going early in the quarter. But neither could they. Trubiksy could not find any kind of Rythm.

It wasn't until 9:07 when the Rams vs Bears were able to get the ball and sustain a drive. A steady dose of Todd Gurley. Big plays by Gerald Everett and Josh Reynolds and Los Angeles were rolling. Everett was able to set up a first and goal at the 4-yard line. Malcolm Brown ran it in for the score and the Rams vs Bears were up 17-7 with 3:31 to go. It was nice to have a lead, especially with how poor Goff has played late in games.

This is when things got a bit weird on Sunday Night Football week 11. Down 10 points with all 3 timeouts and plenty of time to score and get the ball back. Mitchell Trubisky was on the bench. Que Backup Chase Daniels. It was a weird decision since it's hard to tank with 4 wins. We found out that Trubiksy had a hip injury... That did not look like the case from the sideline. Watch this interaction between Head coach Matt Nagy.

Daniels did not lead a comeback and the Rams vs Bears were able to run out the clock. A big 17-7 win to keep Los Angeles in the playoff hunt. On the other side of the ball, it left so much to figure out. What is happening to Chicago?

Two Teams Sunday Night Football Going in Different Directions

A 17-7 win for the Rams vs Bears in week 11. It was only last year Chicago broke up an unbeaten Los Angeles team and gave people a blueprint for success. They couldn't follow their own plans on Sunday. Goff wasn't very good again and had the interception. But McVay had a much better game plan and utilized Gurley like fans would expect.

Chicago will go back to the drawing board. After a week 10 victory against the Lions when things looked good. They crashed back down to earth hard. The benching of Trubisky for Daniels and the inability to kick a Field Goal. Khalil Mack was also taken out of the game. By two Rookies for that matter.

The Bears have a very winnable game next week. The New York Giants at 2-8 roll into Soldier Field. The defense should be able to feast and let the offense try and work things out. Let's hope that Trubisky's Hip is all better after "the injury." 4-6 might be good enough in the AFC. But that isn't getting you in the NFC playoff race. Also, what are the Bears going to do about a kicker? 6 points left on the board tonight and 9 if Nagy had of kicked on the other 4th down.

The Rams vs Bears were able to keep their slim playoff hopes alive. They won't get any chance to rest. The 8-2 Baltimore Ravens come to town for a Monday night Football Showdown. MVP Candidate Lamar Jackson leads a stellar looking Ravens team. Los Angeles path to the playoffs will be a rough one. If they can get in they will be ready to go. Games against Baltimore, the San Fransico 49ers, Seattle Seahawks and the Dallas Cowboys.

If there is one thing to love about the NFL is things are never over till the last week of the season. This week gave us a great Sunday Night Football game Rams vs Bears.
