Cowboys vs Packers Week 5 Preview

Cowboys vs Packers Week 5 Preview

Will Aaron Rodgers' Magic Beat The Dallas Cowboys Again?

Deja vu is a real thing, and the Cowboys are playing Aaron Rodgers and the Packers again. Cowboys vs Packers Week 5 is going to be a massive game for both franchises.  The QB from Green Bay has been a huge thorn in the side of the Boys for a long time, and Dallas will need to put some points up on the board in order to avoid another devastating defeat at the hands of Rodgers.

In the 2015's called the "Dez Caught IT" game, Rodgers ended one of the most promising Cowboys' teams season. The Pack barely got by but Rodgers torched Dallas for 316 yards and 3 TD's going 24 for 35. He looked unstoppable in this one and the Pack got the W 26-21.

The Cowboys faced the cheese heads again in 2017 and the results were the same. With 11 seconds left in the game, Rodgers found Devante Adams in the end zone for a twelve-yard game-winning TD. He finished with a stat line of 19-29 for 221 yards and 3 TDs again. Pack win 34-31

Fast forward to the playoffs in 2017 and it's 3rd down and 20 for the Packers. Dallas has them right where they want them with a lead and in 3rd and long. Rodgers drops back, scrambles, and hits Jared Cook for a toe-tapping first down dime drop on the sideline that set up a game-winning field goal and Packers win 34-31.

Aaron Rodgers has had the Cowboys number for sure. He's 6-2 in his career vs the Cowboys but he's in a new offense, and father time is starting to show up yet again. Devante Adams has a bad toe and Dallas should have a bad taste in their mouth after a bad loss to the Saints.

This Cowboys defense is solid and this offensive line should bounce back this week with a shot at 4-1. "Amari caught it" not Dez, Deja vu, but Cowboys win this time Rodgers.
