Mike Evans 2019 Fantasy Outlook

#8 WR Mike Evans 2019 Fantasy Outlook

Mike Evans (Bucs)

6'5, 231 lbs

Mike Evans has been in the league for 5 seasons, he's gone over 1,000 yards receiving in all 5. He's a good bet to go well over that mark in 2019. Evans is coming off a career-high in yardage after finishing with 1,524 yards on 86 receptions while finding the end zone 8 times.

WR Mike Evans 2019 Fantasy Outlook - At 6'5 he a threat in the red zone on back-shoulder throws, fades, and 50/50 balls. He's averaged 8 TDs a season but the potential for more is there. If he gets back to the 12 TD range as he hit in 2014 and 2016, he could finish as the number 1 overall receiver.

Bruce Arians is the new head coach for the Bucaneers and he's a known commodity in fantasy circles. He's an offensive guru who has helped pave the way for some monster fantasy seasons for his players. While it might be hard to see more than the 138 targets he saw last year, the Bucs did lose Adam Humphries and Desean Jackson so there is plenty of room to eat.

Evans is about as safe as they come and has a huge upside. He's going after the first four or five receivers but could finish #1 overall.
