Alshon Jeffery 2019 Fantasy Outlook

#23 WR Alshon Jeffery 2019 Fantasy Outlook

Alshon Jeffery (Eagles)

6’3, 218 lbs

When Jeffery is healthy he puts up nice fantasy numbers. However, that is the problem because he’s only played all 16 games twice in his eight-year career. Remember this when considering the Alshon Jeffery 2019 Fantasy Outlook. Still, in the 13 games he played last year, he had 65 grabs for 843 yards and 6 TDs.

The Eagles are getting back Carson Wentz, who has shown he likes throwing more to Jeffery than Foles ever did. The team also brought back deep threat Desean Jackson who can keep safeties on their toes. If Wentz can get back to playing as he did a couple of years ago, and Jeffery becomes his go-to receiver again, you could get a bargain #1 receiver.

You should count on him missing a few games, but Jeffery was on pace for 1,037 yards if he didn’t miss those 3 contest. He has also been consistent in the red zone, with 13 of his 15 touchdowns over the last two seasons coming inside the 20-yard line.

A big body used at the goal-line, and a former MVP candidate coming back at quarterback could mean a boost in TD progression and 1,000 yards has always been in his reach. All you need is health and your almost guaranteed WR 2 numbers with a shot for more.
