Saquon Barkley 2019 Fantasy Outlook

#2 RB Saquon Barkley 2019 Fantasy Outlook

Saquon Barkley (Giants)

5'11, 233 lbs

Saquon Barkley tore the league up as a rookie. The "Quad Father" carried the offense with 1,307 rushing yards and 11 TDs, with another 91 receptions for 721 yards and 4 more TDs. 2,000 total yards and 15 TDs is a heck of a season, and he could have room for more this year. That is what you need to know about the Saquon Barkley 2019 Fantasy Outlook

Odell Beckham is gone and the Giants will be leaning on Barkley to make this offense move down the field. He is a generational type of talent with 3 down skills rarely seen in a man that goes 233. He combines short area quickness, power, and more long speed than he's given credit for.

While he's not in a great offense and teams will load the box to stop him, he can still get enough done in the passing game to be a full proof fantasy pick. The Giants drafted quarterback Daniel Jones with the 6th overall pick, and while most rookie at the position struggle, it's not like Eli Manning was setting the world on fire.

There is a debate going on in fantasy circles about who should be the first overall pick, Zeke or Barkley. I say you can't lose either way. While you can debate if the Giants should have drafted Sam Darnold over Barkley, you can't debate on his fantasy production.
