James Conner 2019 Fantasy Outlook

#9 RB James Conner 2019 Fantasy Outlook

James Conner (Steelers)

6'1, 233 lbs

Conner tore it up last year. Most running backs that go 233 don't catch 55 balls but he did and the James Conner 2019 Fantasy Outlook is looking strong for just that reason. He stacked up over 1,400 total yards and 13 TD's in only 13 games. If he keeps that role and gets all 16 games, the sky is the limit.

Conner just took over one of the best jobs fantasy football has to offer. Le'Veon Bell is gone and there is a huge role to fill in a good offense. We have only seen one year, but he showed he can carry the load in a three-down role and put up massive numbers when given the opportunity.

Conner was a bulldozer in the run game and also played well on 3rd down. He averaged 4.5 yards-per-carry and had 71 targets in only 13 games. The Steelers loss of Antonio Brown has to mean more carries and I don't think the addition of 4th round pick of Benny Snell Jr. is a threat to Conners workload.

Like with any high pick, watch the situation closely in camp and pre-season, but there should be a huge amount of touches in line for Conner in 2019.
