It's hard not to like a kid who is the fifth in his family line. David Sills V came into West Virginia as a highly touted QB. Fast forward three years and he is a hot WR prospect going into the 2019 Draft.

Sills has a large catch radius, reads the ball well in the air and great hands. He defends his body well ensuring he catches those balls. He is a great red zone target due to his route running ability and how well he creates separation.

The over-the-shoulder pass is one of his favorites to catch. He transitions well from catch to run. The further he runs the less chance you have to catch him, the speed grows with every stride. Despite having limited time in the WR position he has all the skills needed to make it his own.

Although he has a lot going for him, he is still new at the position and is continuing to find his feet. He needs to work on his first contact, he lacks the strength sometimes to push off an opponent. Tends to get manhandled a bit. He doesn’t have a great first step and needs space to beat a man, struggles in close.

He lacks change of direction speed. It's not a deal breaker, just something to work on.

Overall Review:

Exceptional talent for a kid who played QB throughout high school. He will be an asset to any NFL team. Multiple position talented players are hard to find. Expect him to be off the draft board on day 2.
