Major-League-Wrestling

The Must See Wrestling Promotion

While for almost the last three decades World Wrestling Entertainment has been the top wrestling promotion worldwide. There has been competition with WCW and ECW but they both folded in early 2001. TNA appeared to be the number 2 competitor but since leaving Spike TV has not been able to regain momentum to ensure prosperity. Ring of Honor does provide excellent in-ring action and has been a training ground for many superstars but their lack of national TV exposure has prevented ROH from slaying the beast of the WWE. One organization that seems to be rising is Major League Wrestling as  MLW is becoming the must-see wrestling promotion.

MLW which is now airing on beIN TV at 9 pm eastern on Saturdays has been able to connect with the great legends of the past. MLW has been able to have announcers such as Tony Schiavone and Jim Cornette.  Schiavone has had vast experience in the wrestling business and was the voice of WCW in its heyday. Cornette is one of the more colorful characters in wrestling history as he has been a manager who has been able to get so much hatred from fans Cornette would receive death threats. While Cornette is on play-by-play he is still providing his unique take on pro wrestling.

Connections to wrestling past are also demonstrated in the ring with certain performers. Konnan and Tommy Dreamer who have an extensive wrestling resume are just two of the wrestlers that have competed in the square circle at MLW. There are also connections to legendary wrestling family as the Hart Foundation faction has two-second generation wrestlers. Brian Pillman Jr, son of Brian Pillman, and Davey Boy Smith Jr., son of the British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith, are two of the premier athletes who are building their reputation at MLW.

While trips down memory lane are great for nostalgia MLW does have high-quality in-ring action. A tag team to watch in MLW are the Lucha Brothers Pentagon Jr. and Fenix. Bring their lucha style to the tag team ranks the Brothers can electrify a crowd by their high flying moves and bring tremendous speed and agility to the squared circle. While all of these are just some of the reasons to watch MLW seeing is believing and you must watch MLW either on beIN TV or on their Youtube channel.
