According to SkySports, Manchester City agreed on a deal in the region of £7m for Ante Palaversa. The central midfielder currently plays for a Croatian club called Hajduk Split. In addition, it is believed the Croatian will be a back-up option if Fernandinho gets injured. The 18-year-old made 17 senior appearances, scoring two goals so far this season. Also, Palaversa is currently the captain of the Croatian U19 national team.

McTominay heading to Celtic on loan

Similarly, Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay could be going to Celtic on loan. The 22-year-old played 251 minutes in the Premier League so far. Likewise, He has only started once since interim-manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer took charge. Due to a depth midfield, the Scottish player could look for more game time somewhere else. McTominay has never been loan out before and this could be a chance for the midfielder to prove his ability.

According to Sun Sport, Liverpool has places 20-year-old Weston Mckennie on their radar. Moreover, It reported that Liverpool could make a £20m bid. The American is currently having a breakthrough season in Germany this season. The midfielder made 13 appearances, scored one and made one assist so far this in the Bundesliga. McKennie is a very versatile player and can play in attacking and defensive midfield positions. It is unlikely Liverpool would make a move for Mckennie now due to very well-stocked midfield.

Chelsea could be on verge of signing Leandro Paredes. The club is looking for a midfielder to fill the void of Fabregas. The 24-year-old would be used as a back-up player for Jorghino. According to the Express, the 2017 Premier League champions could spend up to £31m. It is reported that Paris Saint-Germain is also interested in the player. The French champions could look to battle with the London club. The defensive midfielder made 22 appearances so far this season, scoring four goals and assisting four goals.
