Breaking News! Manchester City Banned From Champions League for 2 Years

And now it's official! Manchester City is banned from Champions League for two seasons for breaching UEFA's Financial Fair play rules! What precedence will Manchester City Ban From Champions League set for other teams?

The decision to ban Man City from participating in International Football was awaited by many for a long time and the decision was finally made.

European football's governing body has announced that Manchester City will be banned from competing in UEFA club competitions for two seasons and fined €30m (£24.9m).

Ouch! That's the last thing that Pep Guardiola's team needs right now. Dropping off the Premier League title race and now being banned from European football will not sit well with City supporters.

UEFA said Manchester City had overstated sponsorship revenue in accounts submitted between 2012 and 2016 and had "failed to co-operate" in the investigation.

Hmm... Surprise, surprise.

Manchester City is set to appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) against the decision but it's unlikely they will get away with it this time...

No European Football = England Domination

It's very clear that Manchester City will have a hard time attracting top talent of the foreseeable future because money can buy you a lot but not top talent that wants to compete at the highest level.

I can see a few top stars depart from Manchester City as a result of a lack of European Soccer that being said Man City can still win a lot on the domestic sphere - Premier League Title, Carabao Cup, and FA Cup.

Happy Valentine's to all and stay tuned to more soccer news!
