Chelsea vs Ajax Was A Game To Remember

Chelsea vs Ajax brought us many controversial moments. Moments that we will breakdown in this post.

Chelsea started very poorly against Ajax after Tammy Abraham scored a goal to a wrong net in 2nd minute of the game. It was an incredible misfortune that bummed out many Chelsea fans early in the game.

Only 2 minutes later Jorginho scored a goal from a penalty kick and equalized to 1-1.

There were a lot of battles in the middle of the field following two early goals.

In 20th minute Quincy Promes scored a great goal and put Ajax ahead of Chelsea.

Kepa Arrizabalaga scored a goal in the 35th minute. He got inspired by Tammy Abraham's own goal putting Ajax to 3 goals.

Donny Van de Beek scored a beautiful free-kick goal from a very sharp angle not far from the corner. Van de Beek put an extra twist to the kick that overflown everybody including Kepa. The ball rickshaw from the post into Kepa's face and went in.

Ajax score in 55th minute another great goal! I mean check it out for yourself in the highlights section below.

Not too many people would bet their money on even getting a draw after Chelsea was down 3 goals in 55th minute.

Cesar Azpllicueta scored a goal in 63rd minute and showed a glimpse of potential once again.

Moments That Changed The Game

In 68th minute Daley Blind tackled Chelsea player Christian Pulisic and got red-carded. However, in the same attack, Tammy Abraham hit a hand of Joel Veltman in 69th minute and blocked a shot going towards a keeper and possibly saved a goal.

Daley Blind and Joel Veltman both got red-carded.

Jorginho scored another penalty kick goal in 71st minute 3-4.

Reece James scored an equalizer in 74th.
