Madelyn Nora Ker Passed Away In A Tragic Car Accident
On Monday, January 27, 2025, 16-year-old Madelyn Nora Ker died after a traffic collision in Niagara Falls.
Police officials said they were called to the Thorold Stone and Beechwood roads area shortly after 6:30 P.M.
According to the reports, Ker was driving westbound in a black Chevrolet Cruz on Thorold Stone Road while a 32-year-old woman in a grey Hyundai was traveling eastbound on the same road.
Ker lost control of her vehicle and moved towards oncoming traffic, colliding with the Hyundai. However, a woman sustained minor physical injuries, and Ker died at the hospital.
On January 31, 2025, Niagara Athletics Volleyball Club announced Madelyn’s death through their Facebook handle. They wrote,

The Smash Raiders 17U Cyclones Volleyball Team’s parent rep, Sarah Bowden, organized a fundraiser campaign.
Around 314 people have donated, and over $29,203 has been raised through the campaign.

As per Madelyn’s family, her funeral service was held at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main St., Niagara Falls, on Sunday, February 2, 2025.
The family requested visitors to wear their favorite sportswear to honor Maddy’s love for her teams and the various sports she played.
Moreover, the donations collected at the funeral home will be split between the Niagara Falls Cat Cafe, Niagara Falls SPCA, and Humane Society in honor of Madelyn’s love of cats and Canadian Tire-Jumpstart in honor of Madelyn’s dedication to her sports career.
Madelyn Nora Ker’s Parents Are Mourning The Loss Of Their Daughter
Madelyn Nora Ker was born in 2008 to her father, Jeffery ker, and her mother, Julie Ker, a teacher at Power Glen School.

She was an adored granddaughter of Linda and Alistair Ker and niece of Gary Hulbert and Chris Ker.
