George Kittle’s Wife, Claire Kittle, Learned Her Pregnancy Was Ectopic
Football tight end George Kittle met Claire Kittle during his first year at the University of Iowa and have been inseparable since they married on April 9, 2019.
The couple eloped after engaging in 2018 and now live in Nashville, Tennessee, during the NFL offseason.
Claire played basketball at Wahlert Catholic High School, becoming the school’s third-leading scorer and a McDonald’s All-American nominee.
She played for the Hawkeyes all four years at the University of Iowa, averaging 1.6 points and 1.9 rebounds per game.
Unfortunately, a recurring knee injury ended her career during her senior year of college.

In the caption, Claire noted that she learned that the pregnancy was ectopic during a doctor’s appointment weeks later. She wrote,
It is a serious condition where a fertilized egg grows outside the uterus. That was a risky condition, and hence, emergency surgery was needed.
She recalled deciding to go into surgery that night and ended the post by recognizing her husband and family. Claire wrote,
They do not share any kids but have one puppy, a Beenedoodle named Deenie.
