Mamukelashvili then scored 10 of the Spurs’ final 12 points as San Antonio (29-39) won for the third time in the past five games.

Sandro shot 13-of-14 from the floor, including 7-for-7 from 3-point range. He never previously made more than four 3-pointers in a game.

Stephon Castle added 22 points for San Antonio. Chris Paul produced 12 points and nine assists, Harrison Barnes hit 11 points, and Devin Vassell and Sochan scored 10 points each.

Sandro Mamukelashvili, 25, was born on May 23, 1999, in New York City, United States, to Zurab Mamukelashvili and Marianna Oakley.

He grew up in Tbilisi, Georgia, when he was a baby. He is fluent in English, Georgian, Russian, and Italian.

His mother, Marianna, is a Georgian art history teacher at Tbilisi State University, and his father, Zurab, is a telecommunications engineer.

On February 19, 2020, Sandro scored 15 points and had six rebounds, hitting the game-winning shot on an inbounds pass with 0.6 seconds remaining in a 74-72 win over Butler with his father Zurab in attendance.

Sandro surprised his parents with a new car on July 20, 2023. He shared the glimpse on his official Instagram handle with the caption,

In addition, Sandro shared a close bond with his paternal grandmother, Ira Gabashvili, a prominent figure in Georgian basketball, serving as the captain of the Georgian women’s national team.

Sandro Mamukelashvili Grew Up With Two Older Brothers

Sandro spent his childhood with his two brothers, David and George Mamukelashvili.

His older brother David introduced him to basketball at a young age. He also played soccer and tennis at Bard College.

According to David’s LinkedIn profile, he earned his bachelor’s degree in art history from Bard College in 2017.

Later, he attended Harvard Extension School. From 2013 to 2017, he served as a part-time Bard prison initiative at Bard College.

He joined The Patrick School in July 2017 as a full-time english teacher, and in 2019, he joined Julie Foudy Sports Leadership Academy.

David has been teaching IB Philosophy, writing, and English at Newark Academy since August 2022.

On the other hand, Sandro’s brother George has managed to avoid social media, but he has always supported Sandro in achieving his athletic dreams.
