Quarterback Carson Beck is getting exposed on social media after a series of his Snapchat messages were made public.
Georgia must go through the College Football Playoff without starting quarterback Carson Beck.
Highlights
- During the SEC championship game, Carson Beck injured his UCL in his right elbow.
- Beck’s Snapchat messages were made public on social media.
- Beck made waves earlier this year by purchasing a reportedly $300,000 Lamborgini Urus Performante.
Due to a UCL injury in his throwing elbow, the Bulldogs starting quarterback is expected to miss next month’s game against the winner of the first-round matchup between No. 7 Notre Dame and No. 10 Indiana.
He has reportedly not been with the Georgia team since it returned to practice and workouts last week.
Gunner Stockton is expected to get his first career start on January 1 at the Sugar Bowl in his absence.
According to ESPN, Georgia is preparing for life without Beck for the entirety of the playoffs, and a return this season is “unlikely.”
If Georgia wins the Sugar Bowl, it will play eight days later in the Orange Bowl. The national championship game will be held on January 20, 2025.
The injury occurred during the first half of the final play in Georgia’s SEC championship win over Texas.
Beck’s arm was hit hard by a Longhorns defender as he reared back to throw, knocking the ball loose and leaving the passer writhing on the ground.
Stockton took over in the second half and helped rejuvenate a Georgia offense that scored only three points in the first half. He then left the game himself following a brutal hit.
Beck’s 2024 will be mostly remembered as a disappointing follow-up to his standout 2023.
His numbers generally declined, while Georgia didn’t look like the dominant force of the last three years.

Despite the Snapchat incident, Beck, a Jacksonville native, entered the season as a projected first-round NFL Draft pick.
However, despite the lofty expectations, he has struggled for the 10-2 Bulldogs in 2024.
He has already doubled his interception total from last season to 12, while his completion percentage has dropped from 72.4 in 2023 to 65.1 this year.
Beck made waves earlier this year by purchasing a reportedly $300,000 Lamborgini Urus Performante with the money he earned from name, image, and likeness (NIL) deals.
In addition, before the 2024 season even started, a photo of Beck talking about another woman’s physique went viral on Twitter.
Currently, On3.com ranks Beck 19th among all NCAA athletes with an NIL valuation of $1.9 million.
