Princeton University Running Back, Ryan Quigley Hospitalized After New Orleans Attack, Parents Kelley And Paul Pray For His Recovery

Princeton University’s Ryan Quigley’s parents always supported them in achieving his athletic dreams.

According to the source, 2016 Landsdale Catholic and 2020 Princeton University graduate Ryan Quigley was injured when a pickup truck driver crashed into a crowd of people in New Orleans.

Quigley and his friend Tiger Bech were together on Bourbon Street around 3:15 a.m. Sadly, Tiger Bech, 28, lost his life after he was taken to a New Orleans hospital.

Bech played football at STM before going on to play at Princeton. He graduated from Princeton in 2021 with a degree in finance and worked as a trader at Seaport Global.

The FBI identified the suspect behind the wheel as 42-year-old Shamsud Din Jabbar, a U.S. citizen and Army Veteran who was killed in a shootout with police.

Investigators said that the white truck Jabbar had rented had an ISIS flag on the back when he bypassed a police perimeter and internationally drove into innocent bystanders.

The FBI also revealed that they found improvised explosive devices, or IEDs, in Jabbar’s tuck as well as around the French Quarter.

“We do not believe that Jabbar was solely responsible. We are aggressively running down every lead, including those of his known associates,”

According to the president of Landsdale Catholic, Meghan Callen, the entire Landsdale Catholic community is praying for the complete healing of Ryan Quigley. He added,

“We are incredibly proud to count Ryan among our graduates, and we pray for him and the Quigley family and all of the victims of this senseless tragedy in New Orleans.”

Ryan Quigley’s Parents Are Praying For His Speedy Recovery

The Princeton University running back, Ryan Quigley, 26, was born on May 21, 1998, in Landsdale, Pennsylvania, to his father, Paul Quigley, and his mother, Kelley Quigley.

According to the source, Ryan’s father, Paul, is a businessman, and his mother, Kelley, is a nurse. His parents insisted on his love for football and hard work.

Since his parents are not active on social media, limited information about their personal lives is available.

His family also includes two younger siblings, Kyle and Regan Quigley, with whom he enjoyed snowboarding and swimming.
