The Bridge Creek community is mourning the tragic death of two-sport senior athlete Nataly Metheny, who died Friday, January 31, 2025, after a weeks-long illness.

A moment of silence was held for Metheny before Bridge Creek’s girls’ basketball game against Commanche on Friday night.
She will be remembered forever for her unforgettable contributions to Panhandle State Softball. Her family will soon release the funeral service date and visitation time.
Nataly Metheny’s Parents Are Mourning The Tragic Loss Of Their Daughter
Nataly Meheny, 17, was born in 2007 in Blanchard, Oklahoma, United States, to her father, Cody Hatley, and her mother, Regina Hatley.
Her parents married on July 17, 1999, and celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary on July 17, 2021.
Regina took to her official Instagram handle and shared glimpses of their anniversary celebration with the caption,
According to Cody’s Facebook profile, he is originally from Bethany, Oklahoma, and was born to his father, Lisa Goff, and his father, Mark Hatley.
Cody’s father, Mark, worked as a pipe insulator at Local 94, while his mother, Lisa, was a former Farmers Insurance claimant.
He lives with his family in Blanchard, Oklahoma. Cody attended Putnam City High School and worked as a technician at Carmax.
Cody spent his childhood with his brothers, Geno Goff, Clayton Goff, and Kyle Terry.
On the other hand, Nataly’s mother, Regina, has been very supportive of her. On January 3, 2025, her mother organized a fundraising campaign to support Nataly’s medical journey.

Softball Signee Nataly Metheny Grew Up With Her Three Siblings
Nataly Metheny spent her childhood with her three sisters, Audrey Hatley, Kadey Hatley, and Sydney Hatley, as well as one brother, Michael Hatley.
According to Audrey Hatley’s Facebook, she is from Warr Acres, Oklahoma, and lives in Blanchard, Oklahoma.
She went to Bridge Creek High School and is currently studying at the University of Central Oklahoma Bronchos.
On the other hand, Kadey is a freshman right-hand pitcher playing for Bridge Creek High School.
Nataly’s sister, Sydney Hatley, also attended Bridge Creek High School and is a Beauty Advisor at Ulta Beauty.
However, her brother, Michael, has avoided social media, so little is known about his personal life.
