University of Central Oklahoma graduate Addison Evans paid tribute and remembered the time he shared with Xander. He wrote,

I never thought that yesterday would be the last day. Getting the call that you passed hurt, and I wish that I talked to you more. Your jokes always made me laugh, regardless of the situation. We’ll miss you brother.

Oklahoma resident Tina Stephens sent her heartfelt condolence and prayers to Xander’s family to stay strong in this heartbreaking moment by stating,

This is not a post that I thought I would ever be making. Please keep the Mia family and his friends in your prayers. They lost a son, a brother, and friend. They are going to need them now more than ever. We met Xander Mia and his family back when the boys were in little league wrestling and on the MYBA Baseball fields. My boys grew up with him, they loved him. He was the sweetest, kindest, funniest person. I don’t think he had an enemy. He was a friend to everyone. Everyone loved him. He is leaving a huge hole in this world and it is definitely dimmer without him in it. Xander you are going to be missed

Xander Mia Is Survived By His Parents And Brothers

Xander Mia, 21, was born in 2003 in Moore, Oklahoma, to his mother, ReBecca Wall Mia, and his father, Luis Mia.

Although ReBecca and Luis have avoided social media, they always supported Xander in achieving his athletic and military dreams. Unexpectedly, they lost their son, Xander, at a young age.

Relatives have sent prayers and condolences to ReBecca and Luis so they can stay strong in this challenging time.

Xander is also survived by his brother Ethan Mia, who took to his Facebook handle to announce the schedule of funeral services of Xander.

He had another brother named Izzac Mia, a talented baseball player from Moore High School in Oklahoma. At 5 feet 1 inches and 180 lbs, he is a switch-hitting catcher and utility player who throws right-handed.

Izzac plays for the EE Cardinals Scout Team and remains uncommitted to a college. At the Five Tool Texas DFW Summer Showcase, he recorded a pop time of 1.92 seconds and an outfield velocity of 86 mph.

He is also mourning the tragic loss of his supportive and devoted brother, Xander Mia.
