#12 WR Brandin Cooks 2019 Fantasy Outlook

Brandin Cooks (Rams)

5'10, 183 lbs

Cooks has now gone over the 1,000-yard mark in four straight seasons. Last year he had the highest yardage total with 80 receptions for 1,204 yards and 5 Tds. WR Brandin Cooks 2019 Fantasy Outlook consistency is what is going to get him drafted so high as you can bank on 1000 plus yards.

The Rams have a high octane offense, and with Todd Gurley's knee situation, they might lean on the pass even more. If Cooper Kupp were to miss time or start the year on the PUP, he would be even higher and a legit WR1. As things stand now, he's on the border of WR1/WR2.

The only knock on Cooks is his size, which can hurt him down in the red zone, but he's a playmaker than take it the distance every time he touched the ball. The Rams do spread the ball around, but a TD progression is in play.

Cooks is a safe pick in the third round with potential to be a top 5 fantasy WR with a career year. Safe and upside are two things that are hard to find.
