Calvin Ridley 2019 Fantasy Outlook

#26 WR Calvin Ridley 2019 Fantasy Outlook

Calvin Ridley (Falcons)

6'1, 190 lbs

Ridley just tore the NFL up as a rookie. The Falcons used a first-round pick on the talented player, and he paid dividends with 64 receptions, 821 yards, and a massive 10 TDs. Rookie receivers usually struggle, but not this kid. Ridley should be even better in year two giving the Calvin Ridley 2019 Fantasy Outlook a robust feel to it.

Maybe the touchdowns won't be that high again, but Matt Ryan obviously trusts him in the red zone. He had 5 TDs from 11 yards and in so his TDs won't regress as much as many are predicting. On the other hand, his receptions and yardage should only go up.

The Falcons upgraded their offensive line and Matt Ryan in his prime. With Julio Jones drawing opposing shut down corners, Ridley can continue to eat up the #2 corner and guys in the slot. His playing time should only increase and he could even take over Mohamed Sanu in two-receiver sets.

New offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter loves to throw the ball and utilizes the slot receiver. After a big rookie year, a huge year is in store in year two.
