Joe Mixon 2019 Fantasy Outlook

#7 RB Joe Mixon 2019 Fantasy Outlook

Joe Mixon (Bengals)

6'1, 220 lbs

Joe finally got the touches he deserved and put up some big numbers. Mixon produced 1,168 rushing yards and 8 TDs with 43 receptions for another 296 yards and another TD. This was his first chance being "the man" and all he did was lead the AFC in rushing in only his second year and that's where we will start the Joe Mixon 2019 Fantasy Outlook.

The Bengals Gio Bernard will still take away some targets in the passing game, but Mixon still caught 43 out of 55 targets. He's not elite on third down, but he plays a ton and has more to offer as a pass catcher. New coach Zack Taylor could shake things up, but there is no talent on this roster that could take carries away from Mixon.

He as a really safe pick late in the first round or a steal in the second of 12 man draft. The offense was really bad last year and should be better now. Mixon is a 3 down back with rare talent who, if healthy, has a high ceiling and high floor without any competition.

1,400 total yards and 9 TD's in a bad year with a backup quarterback. He's coming into his third year and if he ended up as a top 5 fantasy RB I wouldn't be surprised.

Joe Mixon 2019 Fantasy Outlook

Ceiling- 1.550 rushing, 400 receiving, 14 TD's

Floor- 1000 rushing, 200 receiving, 7 TD's
