49ers beat the Packers: Going to the Super Bowl

One day we will stop talking about the 49ers 2019/2020 season…….BUT IT IS NOT THIS DAY.

All season long people have questioned the 49ers, calling they pretenders. Well, now they are the NFC Champions as the 49ers beat the Packers and are now heading to the dance.

What if I told you Jimmy G wasn’t going to even throw the ball 10 times, the 49ers would score 37 points and beat the packers by 17? But that is exactly what happened. Garoppolo completed 75% of his passes but he only threw the ball eight times for 77 yards.

I thought before this game started the 49ers were not going to be able to run the ball as they did against the Vikings. I thought with Aaron Rodgers on the other side of the ball the 49ers were going to have to throw the ball and get star tight end George Kittle involved.

I would say they are not going to be able to do that against the Chiefs, but who the hell knows.

Just going to point out I was wrong. As a friend of mine would say Disrespectful Kyle was in rare form tonight. On a 3rd and 8 head coach, Kyle Shanahan drew up a run. Only Kyle Shanahan would run the ball on 3rd and 8 and expect to only get the first down but also score, which they did.

The ran the ball over 40 times for almost 300 yards. Undrafted free agent Raheem Mostert let that sink in a bit. Raheem Mostert was has spent most of his career on five or six different practice squads, was almost cut by the 49ers as well, and yet he ran the ball 29 times for 220 yards. He had over 150 yards and three touchdowns in the first half alone.

All week we heard how this game would not be like Week 12, the Packers learned and will be ready.

Narrator: They were not ready

The Packer defense had no answers, their offense has very little answers and now they are flying back home to Green Bay. The 49ers have punched their ticket to Miami, and someone is going to have to step in for their pro bowlers because they have a more important game to attend.

If you ask any of the 49erFaithful if they thought, they would be here right now getting ready for the Red and Gold to play in the Super Bowl they would tell no way and yet here we are.

And nothing better to cap off the game than with a Richard Sherman interception, the third turnover in the game and Rodgers second of the night.

P.S. If I can find a way to combine Star Wars and sports, I’ll do it.

If it ain’t football news, is it worth reading?
