Vikings vs 49ers Division Round: You Like That, Feels Great Baby

Vikings vs 49ers Division Round: You Like That, Feels Great Baby

“You Like That”

I know Richard Sherman does.

Not Sure about Kick Cousins though...

And just like that the Vikings……are on their way home and the 49ers will be hosting the winner of the Seattle/Green Bay game for a chance to go to the Super Bowl.

Let’s face it the Vikings were never really in this game. They couldn’t really capitalize on a Jimmy Garoppolo interception before halftime. The Vikings offense could not move the ball against a very stout and healthy 49ers defense.

I cannot believe that someone would think a bye week is not needed in the playoffs, especially when you have players that need to get healthy. And healthy is exactly what the 49ers got with their week off. Kwon Alexander hasn’t played since his pec injury in Week 9. Dee Ford hasn’t really played since Week 11. And yet both men made their presence known on the field today.

Another player that made his presence known was number two overall draft pick Nick Bosa. The rookie defensive end had six tackles, two sacks, two tackles for a loss. He hit Kick Cousins three times, deflected a pass, and rose from the dead.

Just like it was in the first half of the season the 49ers were led by the running game and their defense. Dalvin Cook had nine rushes for only 18 yards….18 yards.

The 49ers have not won a playoff game since 2013. They have not been to the Super Bowl since 2012. Now they have won a playoff game and are just one more win away from the Super Bowl. And the best part is the Conference Championship game is in San Francisco. If you see Dre Greenlaw makes sure to thank him for the home-field advantage.
