The New York Giants made their final roster cuts for the 2019 season and have set the opening day roster. Some of the most notable cuts were wide-receiver T.J Jones, linebacker Avery Moss, and quarterback Kyle Lauletta. While Jones was released today expect another wide receiver to get released when Golden Tate’s suspension ends after week 4.
Lauletta, who was drafted in 2018, only lasted one year with the Giants. Being seen as a potential replacement for Eli Manning, Lauletta grabbed headlines for the wrong reasons when Lauletta was arrested in for traffic violations. Pair that with a poor performance against Washington in week 14 Lauletta was on borrowed time.
Yet the biggest roster move is yet to play out as people will be watching to see when Daniel Jones replaces Eli Manning as QB 1 on the Giants roster.
