Chicago's Special Teams Re-signs Familiar Face

Pat O'Donnell Returns

Pat O'Donnell (POD), the former sixth-round pick out of the University of Miami returns. POD only knows one team in his NFL career and that looks to remain according to Adam Schefter. He has been the kicker and place-holder for the Bears since 2014.

Last season, he punted 62 times for an average of 45.0 yards/punt (65-yard long) with 28 of those kicks dropping inside the 20. He has a career average of 44.9 yards/punt for his career yielding only three blocks and one touchdown throughout his career. The Bears now have one of the key positions filled in what looks to be a revamped special teams unit. Stay tuned.

Until then, stay thirsty and BEAR DOWN! JT out.
