SD Fleet vs SL Stallions QB Questions

STL Audio Post

The San Diego Fleet vs the Salt Lake Stallions kicks off in a few moments for the Fleet QB play on both sides of the ball are key to the game.

MLB A.J. Tarpley will miss his second game but Frank Ginda filled in admirably in the defensive QB position setting a Fleet record 15 tackles in the process. They will miss Tarpley’s play in the passing game but Ginda is a force.

On the other side of the ball QB Philip Nelson will miss his second game with his shoulder injury and Mike Bercovici will make another start while looking for his first win. Bercovici gives up a minimum of six sacks a game and has issues with his pocket awareness and movement. Think statue. To make matters worse the Stallions will deploy DE Karter Schult #SackLakeCity and his league-leading 4 sacks against San Diego.

Look for a defensive battle with the key to victory for the Fleet being their ground game behind their stout offensive line.

Scouts for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Los Angeles Chargers and Cleveland Browns are in attendance.

Watch for post-game press conferences to be broadcast live on all Sports Talk Line media channels.
