An 18 second clock error at the end that was tied? 18 seconds is an eon at the end of an NFL game. Especially if you have a hot Phillip Rivers at QB and a chance to take a shot downfield. With the Steelers Le’Veon Bell stretching the ball over the goal line to end the contest Pittsburgh Head Coach Mike Tomlin didn’t seem to think it mattered.
Tomlin had no idea there was a clock error late in game that cost Steelers 18 seconds. Tomlin said didn’t change outcome

If this timely error had occurred back in Pennsylvania the Boltz faithful would still be howling and rightfully so. With it being a home field faux pas however all that’s left for the San Diego Chargers fan base is abusing a handy wall with your forehead. The Chargers missed a golden opportunity to get on a roll versus a Steelers team without Big Ben at the helm. Next up for San Diego is Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. Keep that wall handy.
