Combine Results:
40 Yard Dash – 4.72 seconds
Bench Press – 15 Reps (225 lbs)
Vertical Jump – 35.5 Inches
Broad Jump – 118.0 Inches
3 Cone Drill – 7.38 Seconds
Strengths:
After sitting behind Derrius Guice and Leonard Fournette, Brossette is a patient man. He uses that well on the field and will wait for a gap to open instead of plowing his way through it. He is a physical athlete with great straight-line speed. He attacks the middle and works hard in the trenches to get the job done.
All those years of sitting have given him great vision and poise.
Weaknesses:
Doesn’t really have enough game time experience for me. Could probably do with another year in College to work on his game. He doesn’t seem to have an extra gear when accelerating through the line. Yards after contact are pretty average and he isn’t the strongest of runners.
Giphy:
Brossette finds a crease and takes it all the way to the house.
Pro Comparison:
Leonard Fournette
Overall Review:
Brossette would suit an RB rotation setup. He is a good RB2 or 3 but would get the job done at RB1 if needed. Look for him in the 5th or 6th round of the Draft.
