6th Round Selection
A hometown hero is Francois. Born and bred in Florida. This kid is one of the toughest QB in any league. He played behind the worst O-line in the history of football, got hit more times than a speed bump and keeps getting back up. Pocket presence is unreal, anticipation is great and has a killer throw. Completed 57 per cent of passes in 2018, which isn’t great, but behind that O-line and having rubbish receivers, 10 per cent is good. Has a powerful arm and is athletic and agile.
Needs to improve accuracy. But its not a huge problem. Needs to stay healthy and develop as a pocket passer.
Gets back up time after time. Will not be defeated.
Francois was released by Florida State after a video was posted on social media where he was accused of assaulting a woman. No charges were laid. He has now joined the Hampton Gators. Chances of being drafted are slim to none. Suffered a patellar-tendon injury in week one of 2017 which required surgery and he missed the rest of the season,
I would love to see how he goes on a decent team, behind a decent O-line. Look, I think he will drop down the charts to a late round or a UDFA, only because of the team he ended up with. A good coaching system in the NFL could have this guy as a starter.
