The NFC East is in the midst of a mediocre season. All teams, except the Giants, have a chance of a playoff berth still. The Cowboys are the back to back NFC East Champions and will be looking to add a third title in a row as they march towards the playoffs.

The Cowboys (6-6), Eagles (5-7) and even the Redskins (3-9) all have a chance to play football in January.

Of course, no team in this division will get a wildcard berth, but a division winner will push the envelope in week one of the playoffs.
Who has the easiest run home and who will finish the year as NFC East Champions?

Redskins Schedule:
Week 14 - at Packers

Week 15 - Eagles

Week 16 - Giants

Week 17 - at Cowboys

Realistically the Redskins will only win their week 16 matchup against the Giants and will finish the season 4-12. The Redskins fired coach Gruden weeks ago and will be on the hunt for plenty of roles in the offseason. The future is bright with Dwayne Haskins behind the Center.

Eagles Schedule:
Week 14 – Giants

Week 15 – at Redskins

Week 16 – Cowboys

Week 17 – at Giants

The Eagles are one game behind the Cowboys and have by far the easiest remaining schedule. They could easily win three of these four games. Let’s say they lose to the Cowboys. They would have two losses to their rival and would finish the season 8-8.

Cowboys Schedule:
Week 14 – at Bears

Week 15 – Rams

Week 16 – at Eagles

Week 17 – Redskins

The Cowboys continue to produce poor performances in 2019. They have an incredibly talented offensive unit and should have secured a playoff berth already. Every time they lose, the Eagles do as well and continue to sit behind them despite having multiple chances to take the lead.

Both teams are struggling for consistency this season and will have a showdown in Philly in week 16.

The Cowboys will get the win over the Bears this week but will take the L against the Rams in week 15. This sets up the battle for the East in Philly.

The winner of this game will be the NFC East champion for 2019 and will get the last playoff spot. Whoever this team is, is purely making up the number this season. They don’t deserve to be there on effort alone.

Cowboys to finish the season 9-7 and lose in the wildcard round to the Packers.

#FireJasonGarrett.
